Miss Schreur's 2nd Grade Class Blog

The 2nd grade classes had the privilege of having Mrs. Cox’s sculpture students at SOHI come over and help us make clay pinch pots. Each high school student was paired up with one or two second grade students. The second graders first observed the high school students demonstrate how to make a clay pot. They then got their own turn to get messy and make a clay pot. The high school students took the pots back to SOHi where they fired and glazed them. It was such a great experience for both the 2nd graders and high school students. A special thank you to Mrs. Cox for helping organize this!
